Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu started his academic career at ITU after graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at ITU and became a professor in 1991. He taught at the Departments of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at ITU for many years. He served as the General Directorate of ISKI, the General Directorate of DSI, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs. He has undertaken numerous projects in the fields of water resources management, environmental protection, and forestry in Turkey. Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu is one of the most influential figures in the field of environment and forestry in Turkey.
